Astrology of Monday, August 3 - Full Moon!

Full moon day! The sun is in Leo, a creative, generous and romantic sign - for personal love, that is. Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, loves, too. But it’s focus is on loving humanity, not a personal boy/girl friend. So there is potential for conflict, but enough similarity for harmony, too. The similarity lies in love, but the dissimilarity lies in who gets the love. Humanity or personal love? So compassion and love is in the air, but a balance needs to be struck between the world at large and your personal needs.

Smack dab in the middle of these two is Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, in the usually stable sign of Taurus. It asks the question what needs to change or be reinvented to serve the practical needs of the Sun and Moon - the identity and the spirit? These three planets, Uranus, the Sun and the Moon are forming a temporary t-square, or blockage, in moving forward. The way out is through the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio acts like the cosmic garbage man, taking (ruthlessly!) things we no longer need to grow away. We humans, disliking change, are loathe to part with the familiar. But Scorpio sees widened deep and is looking to transform for your greater good. The extent to which you resist necessary change determines whether or not you find this a painful process.

Take care of all three - the need of your Sun to be appreciated, the Moon for sensitivity and compassion and Uranus, allowing the seeds of change to take root gently, and you’ll be fine!
