This Week: A Tipping Point Is Reached

More on the Barbault Basket - a historically unprecedented confluence of all outeer planets at 4 degrees of their respective signs. Although the aspect itelf is completely rare, some aspects formed within it are ones we have seen before. An outstanding one happens July 20.

On July 20, 2026, we will have Jupiter in Leo (the King) oppose Pluto in Aquarius (Transformation of Society). This also happened in 1789 - Jupiter in Leo opposed Pluto in Aquarius. In 1789, the French stormed the Bastille, The Bill of Rights was created in the US and George Washington was installed as President of the newly formed United States.

When Jupiter in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, the question is not just who has the power, but who should have it? Will there be rulership by a single King or the will of the people? Also on July 20, Moon in Libra at 4 degrees will oppose Neptune in Aries - is the will of the people to have peace with allies vs a quasi religious war based on deception or foggy thinking? The congress of 4 degree planets offers an opportunity to change the world - and it will be a marathon, not a sprint. But this week may be the pivot point to a new society.

Also, the lunar nodes of the United States - North Node Leo and South Node Aquarius - are at 6 degrees, so they will be within range of the effect of the Barbault Basket. In that chart, transiting Saturn at 14 degrees Aries directly opposes the US natal Saturn at 14 degrees Libra, and both square the Sun of the United SStates. This is a very tense relationship between the haves and have nots, as well as the issue of the Rule of Law, and th ongoing effect the wealthy capitalists have exerted on the US.
