A Whole Lot of Shaking Going On! -- Jerry Lee Lewis

I included a chart for December 13, the day I am writing this post. You do not need to know astrology to see that there are numerous geometric shapes in the chart. Those shapes mean that planetary actions are integrally tied to one another. You can see:

• A Grand Trine, linking Jupiter, Saturn/Neptune in Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer and Mercury in Sagittarius/Lilith in Scorpio

• A Kite or Diamond, linking the above planets as well as Uranus in Taurus

• A second Kite/Diamond linking the planets in the Grand Trine and Pluto in Aquarius

• A Grand Cross, pitting Uranus in Taurus against Mercury in Sagittarius/Lilith in Scorpio and Pluto in Aquarius against Jupiter in Cancer

• A Yod, the Finger of God, involving an out of bounds Mars in Sagittarius with Uranus in Taurus and Jupiter in Cancer

• A Mystic Rectangle, connecting Pluto in Aquarius, Mercury in Sagittarius/Lilith in Scorpio, Uranus in Taurus and Jupiter in Cancer

• Lots of squares between Saturn/Pluto in Pisces and the out of Bound Mars, Sun, and Venus in Sagittarius.

I am not trying to cross your eyes with all that astrology. My point is, this is a very nuanced and complex time - some things flow easily; others are difficult. There are enough aspects to go around for everyone! Looks to me like a tipping point. Many planets occupied new signs in the summer of 2025. Now they have been retrograde, getting a new perspective, and I would wager that some things look different to us now.

It would be easy to point to the increasing cracks in the MAGA agenda, and the out of bounds Mars - rip roaring anger from leadership, as manifestations of energy we see daily. And it would be true. But the ease with which the outer planets, the markers for society, are working together, points to a sweeping change that will-you, nil-you, are changing reality. 

This is happening out in the world, but those same energies are manifesting in your personal life. It affects you more if one or more of your natal planets are in line with the planets in the sky. If you have planets within the last five degrees of a sign or the first 5 degrees of sign, you are in line for action.

On the macro stage, Trump is never more dangerous than when cornered, and he is likely to do something drastic and unexpected, piously giving his reasons for doing so (whether real or not). The out of bounds Mars is angry and unpredictable and square Saturn/Neptune in Pisces. This can spell cruelty writ large, or at the very least, the competition of personal vendettas against spiritual law.

Do not be discouraged. This is not a sign that Trump is succeeding; it may be a harbinger of a turning tide. At least, I hope so!
