Aries: Go Time!

Early this morning, we saw the New Moon in Aries.  That happens once a year, so not unusual.   What is unusual is that there is a lineup of Aries energy – Neptune, Mars, Mercury, Saturn, Chiron, Eris, Sun and Moon.

Aries is the start up energy of the zodiac.  On February 20, we had the conjunction of Neptune and Saturn at the 0 degree of Aries - the ultimate societal reset, which has not occurred at that degree for thousands of years. That rich stew of Aries planets can operate at the lower level through crusader like energy (Saturn/Neptune) , war (Mars, God of War)), foggy intentions (Mercury and Neptune), wounding (Chiron), Eris (societal rage against suppression) and new actions  (New Moon).  

At the higher end of the pool, we can see Neptune/Saturn as the Hero’s Journey - building and defending a new vision, thinking with our heart, not our head (Mercury/Neptune) and healing old, outmoded behaviors that have not led to happy outcomes, giving a voice to the voiceless.  The latter set of possibilities is clearly a new path for humanity.  It exists, and as Heather Cox Richardson told Jon Stewart.  We have a role in writing the future.  No outcome is foreordained.

How can we do that?  By being open to change and maintaining our highest vibration during the dismaying events of the day.  Avoid despair and hopelessness and fear, because they will lower the collective vibration.  Our collective vibration must remain unimpeachable because it is holding a space for good things to occur.  

All the planets are going in direction motion - it is go time!  Actions matter now, although don’t expect the consequence of today’s planetary lineup to fully manifest immediately.  These are some long lived transits happening this year that won’t be over soon, so let them unfold, but always with the highest good uppermost in our minds.

We are just 9 days away from the entry of Uranus into airy Gemini on April 26.  This will be a big change, going from earthy, norm loving Taurus to a sign that welcomes innovation.  At this point, the mini trine between Uranus in Gemini sextile Neptune/Saturn at 0 Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius which trines Uranus in Gemini is fully operative.  As crazy as it seems with all that has happened recently, things will heat up through the end of the year.

We all live under one sky, so what I have outlined is the planets and the societal backdrop.  What does it mean for you personally?  Look where Aries falls in your own chart.  Expect it to be the locus of action.  Where does your personal hero’s journey need an update?  Do you have the courage to follow your dreams?  This is a good time to define the dream and find the courage to follow it.
