Destiny and Authenticity

This summer is packed with important astrological events! One June 20, Chiron (The Wounded Healer) entered Taurus (Earth, self worth, money). Climate change fueled heat waves and four earthquakes - two in Venezuela, one in North California and one in Japan, are cries for help from our wounded earth.

We are in an unstable period, from late April to mid August. Currently, transiting Uranus in Gemini is squaring the Lunar Nodes in Pisces/Virgo.  At the same time, Chiron has entered Taurus.  Uranus manifests sudden, unexpected events.  Earthquakes and natural disasters can be one way for Uranus to manifest, particularly with Chiron in Taurus, but it is not the only way.

The lunar nodes often have an air of destiny about them because their timing seems so dialed in to what is happening at the moment.  The South Node (Virgo) represents the “problem”; the North Node (Pisces) tells us how to heal the problem. So right now, we look at the Virgo shadow (every sign has one) and paint Pisces in the most positive light. Virgo’s archetype is the Servant.  Helping is great, but being subservient to a harsh master is not.  Groups can be marginalized for being foreign, having the wrong skin color, being female, loving the wrong sex. Haves and have nots.  Pisces heals the slave/servant karma through unconditional acceptance, love, compassion.

Dark Virgo can also be harshly self critical.  Pisces teaches us that we can only love others to the extent we love ourselves.  Dark Virgo gets enmeshed in anxiety; high Pisces has faith.  Dark Virgo feels the details must be done perfectly; Pisces is more concerned with the bigger, more spiritual view.

Uranus squaring the nodes puts tension on this Virgo/Pisces polarity and asks us to put our consciousness on the scale - get caught up in Virgo’s dark side or go for the Piscean cure?  Uranus’ unexpected insights are critical to moving from our slave/servant karma to find Pisces’ healing love.  Uranus detests and tests everything for authenticity, so the answers you find must be your own. ill it be revolution or revelation - Uranus can do both!  Uranus believes in equality and fairness.

Persons born within the first six days of any Sun Sign (or any planet or angle at those degrees) will feel this personally, but Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces may find it most impactful.

Nothing is set in stone. We are here to co-create the future.  We are here now to do it. We have choices to make.
