Fix Intentions on the Taurus New Moon

Tomorrow afternoon, we have a new Moon in the sign Taurus the Bull.  It is a perfect time to fix your intentions - new diet, quit smoking, exercise more, etc. Taurus is an earthy, fixed sign, so it grounds resolutions and powers you through to the finish line.

The next two weeks usher in an expansive growth cycle - so good in spring when you are planting your seedlings or sowing seeds. The moon is fertile and expansive! And it will be fertile for more than plants. The energy is expansive.

We have a t-square that heralds power struggles - Sun/Moon Taurus (leadership of the Executive and the public)) in tension with Mars (Warrior) in Leo (King) opposite Pluto (dramatic change - going down to ashes and then rising like the phoenix from the ashes in Aquarius (revolutionaries, geniuses and exiles!) Looks like some heady disagreements which will affect planets in early degrees of Leo, Scorpio, Taurus and Aquarius or the very last degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.

Venus (relationships) in Aries (initiation) is fused with Saturn (limits, past or karmic connections) is in a harmonious aspect with Mars (Passion) in Leo (Romance), so someone could return from the past. Vibes are good for these lovebirds for a few more days. Saturn (limits) is in tension with Jupiter (expansion) in Gemini, so make sure you talk things over and don't let miscommunication spoil the party.

With Venus close to Saturn, we are going to see more secrets become public.

I know these are troubled times for us, so I thought I'd write about astrology from a more personal perspective. I will tell you what I am telling myself - Control what you can, be kind, take care. Aries is active now. Aries is about courage - standing up like a warrior protectively. Courage doesn't mean we have no fear. It just means we act courageously despite the fear. We were born to be here at this moment.
