Since the Solar Eclipse on September 21, we have been in a period of human instability. The karmic nodes of the Moon are always involved at the Eclipse point, sometimes round the South Node, which brings in energy from past events, or North Node, which brings the energetic imprint of what is to come. This was a North Node eclipse carrying energy of previous cycles - one year of which was 1917 during the Bolshevik Revolution. At the solar eclipse, the Moon symbolically takes a "bite" out of the Sun. In Mundane Astrology, the Sun represents the Executive Leadership nd the Moon represents the collective will of the people.

Nothing better illustrates this than the firing of Jimmy Kimmel after he talked about assassinated Charlie Kirk. (He did not endorse political violence, BTW). That was a step too far for many people. Even Ted Cruz (Ted Cruz!) felt it was "dangerous" for the administration to meddle in the area of free speech (by a TV comic!). It seemed that ABC/Disney might have been refused a key merger if they left Kimmel on the air.

Trump's already low approval rating dipped further. People canceled their Disney memberships en masse. People voted with the power of their pocketbook. Disney stock dipped. After a hasty announcement that after "significant discussions with Jimmy Kimmel", Disney-owned ABC, put Kimmel back on the air.

The collective, societal planets - Saturn (Lord of Karma), Uranus (Revolution), Neptune (Fantasy) and Pluto (Transformation) - are now in retrograde motion, going back over material they have been through already. The retrogrades are known for reconsidering and reviewing, which certainly seems to be the case with Kimmel.

Some Republican conservatives are concerned about releasing the Epstein files, the Homan quid pro quo tapes (taking a $50,000 bribe in 2024 to give Building the Wall Contracts to donors) and the ex-judicial killing of people in a Venezualan boat in international waters.

Virgo is all about healthcare. Trump's health, the Senate hearings for RFK, whether or not vaccines cause autism, the firing of the CDC head and decimation of NIH were big news throughout Virgo, August 23 - September 21. The President declared pregnant women should NOT take Tylenol a/k/a acetomeniphin. During Virgo season and particularly in the week after the eclipse, we are being invited to exercise Virgo discernment in evaluating these claims and refusing to be gaslit. (Neptune in Aries and North Node in Pisces).

Yesterday, 800 key US military personnel were invited to drop everything to come to a meeting with Trump and Hegseth. It was a security risk to have so many key people assembled so quickly, with time and date publicly announced. Of course, it was paid for by the American people. There was no applause, which seemed to bother Trump, but did not stop him from launching a 70 minute rant that included his normal greatest hits. Trump announced that "liberal" American cities would be the training ground for the military and human decency would not be a bar to their actions. Clearly a violation of the Constitution which prohibits using the military against Americans. (Sun in Libra opposite Saturn in Pisces)

American farmers are hurting badly from losing their soybean market with China as a result of Trump's tariff war. China is buying their soybeans from Argentina. We are bailing out Argentina because their leader is a Trump ally. But no relief for American farmers.

Today, the Sun, executive leadership, is opposing Saturn in Pisces, Lord of Karma and the rule of law. The Sun is trine Pluto in Aquarius, which can indicate power games by leadership that may or may not be legal. Pluto is trine revolutionary Uranus in Gemini - a war of words. This can emerge in two ways, and the people have a say in that outcome. Pluto is conjunct the Moon in Capricorn, and trine to Uranus, which can indicate a backlash from people who want governance to function well for them.. Every energy is astrology is dualistic, so we will see some of both.

The Trump Administration is known for acting with devastating swiftness, but the response seems to have shifted.. As Trump's approval rating drops, and as his policies start to cause real pain, especially to his base, he does not wield the power he once did. Not that things are going to get better suddenly - they are not - but the majority of people did not vote to see Americans (not illegals and not criminals) disappeared into unmarked vans by masked men. More people are embarrassed by his increasingly unhinged rants.

I think the slumbering giant of America is starting to see that what they thought they were getting is not what they wanted. In. February, Saturn and Neptune will once again be exactly conjunct in Aries. To build a new vision (Saturn/Neptune) will require Aries courage - not fearlessness, but a willingness to act with courage despite the fear.
