Astrologically, September Has Got It Going On!

Just hours ago, two things happened - the Pisces Full Moon and soon after, Eclipse Season began with a Lunar Eclipse. Lunar Eclipses (Full Moon events) and Solar Eclipses (New Moon events) appear close in time, and always hover closely around the karmic Nodes of the Moon. The result is a supercharged full or new Moon, and a feeling that fate has taken an interest in the matter - longed for, but not expected.
Here is the timeline:
August 23 - New Moon at 0 degrees Virgo
September 1- Saturn goes retrograde from Aries back to Pisces
September 2 -Mercury, ruler of Virgo, enters Virgo until September 18
September 4 - Uranus stations and goes retrograde in GeminiÂ
September 7 - Full Moon at 15 degrees Virgo
September 7 - Lunar EclipseÂ
September 21 - Second New Moon at 29 degrees Virgo, coinciding with a Partial Solar Eclipse
September 22 - Autumn Equinox and Sun enters Libra, closely followed by Mars
It is very unusual for the New and Full Moons to bracket a zodiac sign, 0 to 29 degrees. We will see a progression of Virgo priorities - health care, day to day routines (food prices and inflation, folks!) as we experience the eclipses. One Virgoan strength is discrimination - a Virgo can love well, but not blindly. A Virgo can be lied to, but will eventually discern the truth.
Sure enough, on Thursday, September 3, Robert Kenedy, Jr., head of HHS, was grilled by the Senate Finance Committee over his firing of top CDC officials. Democrats called for his ouster and even some Republicans had concerns. With the Full Moon in Pisces, releases and letting go are likely during this set of eclipses. Kennedy has Virgo rising which intensifies the effects of transits for him this month.
In an eclipse, the Sun, the leader in mundane astrology, is directly opposite the Moon in Pisces, which represents the will of the people. The Moon is conjunct the North Node, our purpose, and both are aligned with expansive, lucky Jupiter in Cancer. The people have an edge this month.
The furor from August 28 - September 2 over whether or not Trump was dead coincides with the spirit of this month. His health will not be good, although if he survives, July-August, 2026 will be worse.
Saturn and Uranus had moved forward into Aries and Gemini, respectively, but they are now retreading old ground....sometimes loose ends need tying up or a new perspective is emerging. This is only temporary, but any movement of Uranus usually carries some disruption with it. In November, Uranus will retrograde back into Taurus and engage in the "norm bashing" commonplace over the last seven years.
If you have planetary placements in Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces or Gemini, you may find the planetary movements affect you very personally this month. A good astrologer can be helpful now.
There is a mini trine in the sky connecting Pluto, the transformer, Uranus, the awakener and Neptune/Saturn in Aries, builder of a new vision. Even though the world is full of chaos and suffering, these three collective planets are working in concert to build something utterly new for the collective. My mentor, Steven Forrest called it breaking down to break through. I don't think fascism fits the eventual outcome of the current chaos. It is an old form of government, for one thing. All signs, astrologically, point to some system that will be truly original. While there is no guarantee that this change will be positive or negative, you can help create it now.
No matter how hard it gets, keep your personal vibration high. We desperately need those drops of individual integrity to fill the bucket of humankind. Things are frightening, and too many are genuinely suffering, but we will see a backlash to what is going on here. And we will get to create something fresh, new, and, hopefully, lovingly compassionate. Let Virgo discernment work on seeing how things could be.
