Astrology of 2026

The planets are tightly forming around the mini trine that will be the keynote of the year - Uranus in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius with Saturn/Neptune in Aries at the midpoint of the two.

When the history books are written, I believe 2026 will be the seed year for beginning something completely new in society. The big news is that a mini trine has formed with Uranus in Gemini (new advances, brand new technologies) trine Pluto in Aquarius (Death and Rebirth of the Power of People Power), and the midpoint of that trine is a very rare and very significant conjunction of Neptune and Saturn at 0 Aries.

These are the planets an astrologer to looks to for answers about collective society. The exact joining together of Neptune and Aries has not happened often in history - 500 BC (roughly) and 500 AD. Those dates coincide with the rise and fall of Rome.

0 Aries is the World Point, the beginning of spring. Things begin at the 0 point. And this year, for so many reasons, something totally new and unprecedented is going to take form. Begin to take form. The trine with Uranus in Gemini will last 8 years; Neptune for 16 years and Pluto for 18 years. So there is some time for the seed to flourish into a mighty tree.

These changes and the new technology that will drive them will require us to have the courage to step into the future. Aries is all about acquiring courage. Fear is a reaction - and is certainly a justified response - but courage is a choice.

Neptune/Saturn conjunction are not terribly rare - they have about every 36 years, but there has not been one at the World Point for a looooong time. There will not be another in our lifetime. This conjunction does have a connection to power changes...in 1917, on a Neptune/Saturn conjunction, Czar Nicholas was murdered amid the Bolshevik Revolution. In 1952-3 Stalin died. A power vacuum occurred as he had not identified a successor. And Vladimir Putin was born and has the Saturn/Neptune conjunction is his birth chart - the one we will experience on February 20 is in Aries, opposite Putin's natal conjunction. And, famously, the Berlin Wall fell and the cold war ended in November, 1989.

During this period of change, be brave. Keep your ethics and your vibration high. This is huge. You will be contributing positively to the establishment of a zeitgeist that will be our collective backdrop for the next couple of decades.
