Mercury and Venus Are Retrograde...and We Are Voting!
Both Mercury and Venus will be Retrograde during the 2026 Midterms. Expect some details to go awry and there may be at least an initial lack of clarity over the vote count. Mercury went Retrograde in Scorpio in tension with the Solar Eclipse Point in August. A solar eclipse often indicates a leadership change is imminent.
A Retrograde is a time for developing a new perspective on old issues. With Trump's popularity at a historic low, many of his former supporters have soured on high costs of living, which are likely to go higher as the Iran War continues.
And here we go to the Polls. I make no election predictions, just observations. On November 4, the day after the election, we have a good "sky" - Mercury is still retrograde, but goes so close to the Sun that he is "cazimi" or in the heart of the Sun. The Sun washes Mercury with her healing rays and voila! clarity and ease return. Not to be outdone, Venus is still retrograde in Libra (love, beauty, balance) , but she will be inn a good aspect Jupiter in Leo (expansion in leadership) November 4 - 6. This is very good energy for connecting with people you love - maybe someone from the past returns.
One troubling thing - we will have a triple conjunction of the South Node (bad juju from the past), Mars in Leo (God of War in the sign of the King) and Jupiter in Leo (things get bigger) on November on November 14 and 15. This triple conjunction is happening on Trump's Mars (God of War) in his 12th house (a house of self undoing and loss).
