Leo Full Moon

The Full Moon in Leo stands in opposition to a five planet pileup in Aquarius. Pluto (God of Hell) adjacent to Mars (God of War, the Sun (symbolizing the current leadership, Venus (Relationships) and Mercury in Aquarius (Youth, Dissociation.  The brutality of those currently in power to rip asunder relationships and children is clearly visible, even if the thugs wearing masks are not.  Popularity of the Administration continues to drop as we process the murders, not only of Rene Good and Alex Pritti, but the deaths of many Hispanics and peace of color in ICE custody.  Sources say we are on track for 100 deaths this year.

Just as the Kent State murders foreshadowed the end for the Vietnam War, I believe the events this January are creating a subtle shift.  Things have gone too far.  Suffering is palpable, and many are saying enough is enough.  Jupiter is in Cancer, a nurturing, self care and healing energy.  Jupiter is in adjustment mode to these Aquarian planets - how do you feel safe when you  really are not?

The mini trine that continues to form is close enough to be operative - Uranus in Taurus (now, until April), Neptune in Aries, close to Saturn still in Pisces and Pluto in Aquarius, are in the destructive phase of their death/rebirth cycle.  What arises for humanity will be totally new and in many ways, unprecedented.  Ten years from now, we won't recognize ourselves or society.  

We are all being called to be a hero in our own dream and to develop courage.  Fear is a reaction; courage is a choice.  When faced with so much change, we need our courage to build a better, braver world.  It seems impossible now, but as Einstein said,"Everything seems impossible until it isn't."
