Return of the Crusades

Jupiter has concluded a four month long retrograde, stationery at 15 degrees Cancer, readying to move forward in direct motion on April 5. When a planet is standing still like this, its power is ampified.

Jupiter is generally beneficent, but every front has a back.  Jupiter is concerned with belief systems and Cancer can be security oriented, as its feeling nature is so sensitive.  We live in a Cancer country, and we have seen how fear of the foreigner, can go ugly.   It has.  

Fear of the other was compounded when Neptune (spirituality) entered the sign Aries (warrior) on February 20.  Neptune can put belief systems on a collision course with violence, when it lies in the sign of the warrior. The archetype of the spiritual warrior enters our consciousness more fully.  This is crusader energy.

Enter Pete Hegseth, head of the Department of War (formerly the Department of Defense), wearing several Crusade related tattoos, like four Jerusalem crosses, and  the battle cry of Crusaders, “Deus Vult” (meaning God wills it), among others. His remarks as well as the ink, led to him being labeled an extremist by his National Guard Unit.  He was not allowed to work the Biden inauguration because of it. Another tattoo he has is Kafir/Infidel, which has drawn criticism for anti-Muslim remarks.  These symbols have been used by far right extremists and Christian Nationalists.

Jupiter will remain in Cancer until the end of June, then move into Leo.  We will look at that closer to the shift.

Democrats are investigating whether or not generals received briefings that the War with Iran was divinely ordained, with Trump acting on Jesus Christ’s orders.  If so, this violates our Constitutional separation of church and state.

Shortly after resuming direct motion on March 20, Mercury will reach the  karmic North Node at 8+ degrees Pisces. Mercury retrograde has given us opportunity to develop a new perspective, particularly in the area of illusion or delusion.  Neptune is a master of both.  Have we seen our way to a truer spirituality or been seduced by a spirituality that glitters but is not true gold?  Look for information (Mercury) uncovered and covered by the media (Mercury) that seems like a fated (North Node) event.

We live in fearsome times, but you can do one thing: do not give in to fear or be cowed by circumstances.  The suffering is real, but living in despair and hopelessness simply gives terror soil to flourish.  Hold your vibration high and do not let hope die. The collective vibration will eventually win.  Hold your ground.
