Summer of 2026 - Things Heat Up!

A lot of planets have been in water and earth elements this year. Earth and water can make a fertile garden, but it can also make you feel stuck and emotionally heavy.  But this summer, things heat up as planets enter fire and earth elements.  And you know what fire and air do - they combust!

Once the planet Uranus entered Gemini (air) on April 26, 2026, the ingredients were in place for a mini triangle aspect that will be busy reshaping society - intensely for the first four years, and active on and off til 2033.  Neptune is in Aries (fire) at the apex of the triangle and sextiles Pluto in Aquarius (air) and Uranus in Gemini (air).  This is a pretty rare aspect.  

Uranus rules sudden, unexpected change.  Pluto rules transformation and death/rebirth cycles.  When these two team up, the potential is enormous.  In a moment things can shift that had felt immovable.  As Einstein said “Everything is impossible until it isn’t.”

Looking for change?  Jupiter (which enters fire element in Leo in July) gives an opportunity to expand and grow, but it is gentle - we decide whether or not to take it.  When Uranus and Pluto team up, it is much more explosive – and doesn’t ask for permission!  Revolution in consciousness and a transformation of society happen!  

Change is on the table, and it will go much better for each of us if we cooperate with releasing anything that won’t stand the test of the next decade.  Is your job still the best fit for you?  Are you living somewhere that supports your growth?  Is there a relationship that is on shaky ground?  Are  you overwhelmed with clutter?  You may find a breaking point where you simply will not tolerate it if something does not change! 

Do you remember how life changing the development of the internet was?  Going from an analog to a digital world? This combo reminds me of that sort of sweeping societal change.  It changed society entirely.  If we could imagine the unimaginable, we might now, but I think we just have to be prepared to roll with it!

Dates this summer worth noting:

June 9 - one of the best aspects in the year - optimistic Jupiter (archetype of adventurer, philosopher) joins Venus (the archetype of the artist, lover) in the romantic and creative sign of Leo!

June 20 - Chiron (the wounded healer) enters Taurus (a sign of financial resources)  Given everything going on right now with prices, I do not feel great about this.  

June 30 - Mercury stations to go retrograde in Cancer until July 24, when Mercury stations to go  direct.  Stations are very powerful, so the retrograde in cancer just got more retrograde and more Cancerian!

The trine between Uranus and Pluto will be EXACT (a very powerful expression) 

• July 18, 2026 — at 4° Gemini 

• November 29, 2026 — at 3° Gemini 

July 19 - 23 - EVERY outer planet will be at 4 degrees of the sign it occupies.  

• Jupiter 4 degrees Leo

• Uranus - 4 degrees Gemini

• Neptune - 4 degrees Aries

• Pluto - 4 degrees Aquarius

This is not business as usual.  It is, again, rare.
