On October 18, 1775, the British army bombarded and burned the town of Falmouth (later, Portland, Maine).  Outrage over this act led to a changed mindset where the former colonies rebelled against the British monarchy.

On October 18, 2025, millions danced, carried signs and lined the streets in thousands of locations around the nation and the world.  While the signs protested many government actions, they all condemned an American President returning to a monarch's autocratic rule.

Of course, the astrology of the day was quite amazing.  See all those blue lines?  They indicate flowing harmony.  Two fortunate kites involve cooperation between the Moon In Virgo (the People) trine Uranus (Revolution) and Pluto in Aquarius (transformation of Democracy). The second joins the Moon in Virgo (the People) working with Jupiter (good fortune in surpassing boundaries that are no longer useful), and Mars (Assertion).  Both of these kites have an opposition from the Moon (the People) opposite Neptune at 0 Aries (formation of a new vision) and the planet Saturn (can be oppression OR the ability to build a new vision).

Two magical mystic rectangles are in the chart, too.  The first is joining the Moon (the People), powered by Jupiter (Good fortune), Saturn/Neptune (a reset) and Pluto (transformation).  The second one joins the Moon (the People), Mars (Actions) to Saturn/Neptune (Reset) and Uranus (Revolution).

The red lines denote challenges..  This involves a t-square between Pluto (power manipulations) opposite Jupiter (truth and good fortune) and the Sun (the "King" - or at least top executive.

It was a day of reassurance to many who had felt powerless and unheard (Eris conjunct Chiron in Aries).

All this is not new, of course, but it is interesting that the heavens themselves reflect this array of the people vs. autocratic power.

If you have planets at low degrees or very high degrees, these planets may have connected powerfully to your personal chart.  After last week's Pluto station, many of us with planets at those degrees were really challenged.  I know I was!  I hit a motorcyclist, and am very grateful that we both walked away unharmed.

Be encouraged.  Your voice does matter, and peaceful protest is a powerful way to begin to change our mindset, just as the colonists had to change their mindset to allow them to challenge and overthrow a monarch.
