Notes on June 20, 2019

People love to build relationships today...but they want to do it THEIR way. A love for freedom and individuality permeates the day. There is a sense of "Can I have it all - or will I have to suppress some part of me in order to relate...I sure would like a relationship." What you really crave is some balance and a peer to peer relationship that takes care of your individual needs like a warm blanket on a cold day. That old idea of women suppressing all they are so they are "approved of" just isn't working. Old paradigms are dropping away. Men are having to give over some of their traditional dominance to get more peer to peer. This is easier for younger men and more difficult for older men. The old norms are changing.
