Happy Father's Day in the time of masks and social distancing! It is more than Father's Day! It is also the day of the new moon and a solar eclipse. Solar eclipses are not altogether rare. but this one is happening when 50% of the planets are in retrograde motion (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto). It is also taking place at 0 degrees Cancer. Any planet at 0 degrees in the signs Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn is starting something new. And this is happening within a degree of the karmic north node - what we as a people are striving toward. So what does this mean?

It is an eclipse on the Sun, the planet of ego and identity will literally disappear literally in the East, India and Africa. Suns are rulers, too, so expect to see some global leadership repercussions in the next 6 months.

It also means that as this is happening in a moon ruled sign, there will be phases. Things will change, but waxing and waning. We have a shot at addressing the karmic legacy that holds us back to move forward in a new way.

The only constant is change. The only way to find security in a changing world is learning to adapt to changing circumstances.
