Today is the first day ...of your next 18.5 years! The soul's lesson for a generation is shifting today out of Cancer/Capricorn to Gemini/Sagittarius, heralding a new zeitgeist has arrived!

Under the polarity of Cancer/Capricorn, we've seen the limitations of the old institutions of power and the awareness of the need for a more compassionate stance. Old norms are breaking down so we can break through to a new reality. We've seen the rise of matriarchy vs. patriarchy - the Me, Too movement began. And we have seen the rise of tribalism. The whole idea of "pulling one's self up by the boot straps" is being questioned - is it even possible? We also live in a Cancer ruled country, so the very essence of what it is to be an American is being challenged. Those issues are not resolved; there is resistance to change - always! But the issues are on the table, and movement into the Gemini/Sagittarius realm - is going to continue some themes, but with a little different twist.

With the North Node in Gemini, the curiosity of reportorial Gemini, the Witness, Storyteller, Journalist - is aroused. Gemini is logical and rational, relying on facts, not feelings. Sounds like science and truth telling to me. The South Node in Sagittarius is all about dragging people into a philosophy built on facts that need updating if they are to be viable. New facts (Gemini) cause an adjustment to philosophy. If belief systems are healthy, they can adapt and include new factual material, but those who pompously maintain their truth is the only truth have stopped allowing new facts to enter. They become antiquated. As always, there will be factions on both sides - every action initiates a new reaction, but my money is on Gemini. It is, inevitably, the destiny we are bound to experience, no matter what the resistance.
