It is interesting that the Moon moves into Capricorn, a sign associated with conservatism, during the Republican convention. In many of the aspects today, the GOP seems to have the wind at their back. A trine, an easy integration of energy, exists between Sun in Virgo, Moon going into Capricorn and Mars in Aries/Uranus in Taurus.

There is a balance between feelings and thought - what is practical? what can realistically be achieved? Excitement is in the air with Uranus/Mars being activated. There is a desire for action. Isn't that what a political convention wants to achieve?

There is also a trine between Jupiter in Capricorn, Uranus in Taurus and Mercury in Virgo. There is an opportunity to perceive new conditions, a door is open to find new opportunities in our traditional institutions. But wait there is more!

A mystic rectangle has also formed, involving Mercury in Virgo, Pluto/Saturn in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces, trine Venus in Cancer sextile Mercury in Virgo. The presence of Neptune in Pisces (illusion/delusion) , which is also opposite Mercury in Virgo (journalists, observers) signals that all may not be as true as it seems. Illusion may lie behind the vision. Idealism or baseless conspiracy theories? may depend on your personal idealogy. Definitely, the wild and dangerous QAnon falls into the latter group.

All is not beer and skittles, either. There is real anger still erupting as another black man has been shot - Eris, the voice of the voiceless, is very nears Mars in Aries, and it is at a point of friction with the powers that be. Venus in Cancer - alliances have emerged that oppose the power trifecta - Jupiter/Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn.
