Astrology of Tuesday, September 15

Several schools of thought are represented in today's astrology, which makes sense, because we are by no means in consensus.

There are some people who just want to rely on their tried and true American institutions. (Sun in Virgo trine Jupiter/Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn), and they are willing to swallow any conspiracy theory or rely on their gut rather than science. They distrust experts and are willing to swallow propaganda to follow their leader's theories (Neptune in Pisces).

Others, many of them journalists, are in tension with the powers that be. They seek facts and science to support their theories (Mercury in Libra square Jupiter/Pluto/Saturn in Capricorn and inconjunct Uranus in Taurus). This group is more concerned with the shocking and upsetting facts of climate change and want action to do something about it.

Then there is a curious phenomenon that has persisted. The moon in a mundane chart is indicative of the will of the people. The Moon is in Leo and it stands trine to fiery Mars Retrograde in Aries and Lilith, a woman who did things her way - not the patriarchal way. This group is willful and proud, willing to stand for its beliefs, ready to examine their own shadow and believes there should be an overhaul of systemic abuses of power. Chiron, indicative of where we need healing, in the sign of identity, Aries, is asking each of us to choose who we want to be. The United States. is nearing a Chiron return to the place it occupied at the time of the revolution - who will we be as a people? The answer to that question has not been resolved.
