Astrology for Wednesday, October 14
2020 has been a very active year, and this is reflected in the stars.
The Moon and Venus in Virgo are trine Jupiter/Pluto/Saturn in Capricorn which trines in turn Uranus in Taurus. This makes a Grand Triangle in the sky, all in the earthy signs. A female figure, beloved of the establishment, has an unexpected opportunity. The gleefulness of this Grand Triangle makes me think of the Amy Coney Barrett hearing. People on both sides of the aisle are using the hearing as a chance, not to question her, as much as to make a political commercial for their cause. The Sun in Libra, sign of the law, opposite the planet Neptune in Pisces, makes it pretty obvious that what you see is not necessarily what you get and that there is some serious spin going on.
The GOP has tried to repeal ACA and hopes to repeal Roe vs. Wade. Mercury in Scorpio is retrograde so it is no surprise that we see these issues resurfacing at this time, as communication tends to go over old ground during a retrograde.
Meanwhile, there is great anger about unmet personal needs, and the anger is focused at the powerful institutions that lead us and are supposed to protect us The needs of many have been abandoned in the enthusiasm to get this Justice on the Court, not letting the people have any say in who becomes justice. Merrick Garland was denied a hearing 10 months before an election. Now, people are actually voting, and it is an emergency to seat this judge? Sun in Libra square Jupiter/Pluto/Saturn in Capricorn square Mars/Eris in Aries which is opposite the Sun in Libra.
Still, karma is afoot....Neptune in Pisces is squaring the transiting Nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius. We shall see what happens. October is a very fraught time, and President Trump's chart is taking a beating. I'd be surprised if he did not end up back in the hospital before the month is out.
