Astrology for the Week of September 11

The week begins with a beautiful and fortunate kite shape in the sky, uniting the sun in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus. It is an earth party! The purpose and will of the Sun (executive leadership in a mundane chart) works easily with some planets moving in backward motion. We are retreading some ground here. Maybe we missed something earlier or have reconsidered our opinions. But we can fix that!

If so, integrating the energy of transforming the power structure, our ethics work together on a more practical level, with some surprises along the way! In sync with the Virgo energy of rolling up our sleeves to make things better, the focus is on practical solutions that are doable! And in line with our evolving sense of what is right, not old accepted norms that no longer serve us.

On Thursday, we get another heaping helping of that Virgo can do energy as the Moon becomes new. A new cycle of growth activity takes place. Things done on the waxing new Moon have a chance to grow to fruition. On the weekend you can plant any fall crops and have a better chance of harvesting abundance. And that is just one example of good things that are possible.

Under these earthy influences, I hope we will see positive growth toward the betterment of our planet. And emphasis on holding the one percent more accountable in accordance with the will of the people and their growing sense of discomfort with things that differ from evolving, collective principles.

The North Node in Aries is conjunct the dwarf planet Eris in Aries. The North Node represents the fulfillment of our life’s work - where we have yearned to be. Eris is that hole in our identity where we feel we have not been listened to by those in power. The meet8ng between the North Node and Eris may feel fated. Something we knew needed to happen, but had not been able to get to before. There may be a feeling of karma or fate about how this works out.

The Sun in Virgo is opposite Neptune in Pisces. We may feel challenged to express our visions in the light of the practical daylight of the sun, but really that is what it is all about. Putting our faith into action. Mercury in Virgo is opposite Saturn in Pisces, so don’t let obstacles slow you down!

There are some challenges. When is there not? But that big, beautiful kite formation encourages us that things are possible, even if they don’t seem probable.
