March 12, 2023 -Jupiter Conjunct Chiron in Aries

Today may be springing forward into spring, depriving us of an hour's sleep to celebrate daylight, but it is also a notable date for another reason. Jupiter, a planet of expansion, is transiting Aries, a sign that focuses on ourselves. Today, Jupiter will meet transiting Chiron, an asteroid signifying "the wound", also in the sign of Aries. This is happening at a time when the Moon is in Scorpio, a time when everything is deeper. We are more likely to examine our shadow self during this moon sign.

We all have a story of how we have been wounded or violated, and that story is often our core truth. But it isn't quite the same as reality. Under these influences, we have an opportunity to look more deeply at our story, recover our shadow side, and expand beyond being a victim or someone who is (however justified we are) wounded or wronged. Jupiter gives us opportunities to expand, to think bigger. Where have we held ourself back? What are we still allowing ourselves to be triggered over, and is that serving to keep us small? Maybe our vision of what is possible needs to get bigger, inviting us to rise beyond the wound.

We can lose some of the impact of our wound by helping others who have had a similar experience. We can be stronger, more whole and more aware of the bigger possibilities when we let Jupiter in to heal our Chironic wound. Today is a day to rise above and beyond your story to a new version of reality. It doesn't just apply to today, but it begins today. Go for it!
